Wilton Bullet Vise Handle Kit 11/16"D 1144 Stress Proof Steel Threaded Knob

Description

This listing is for a bench vise spindle handle kit sized to fit many Wilton bullet vises that use an 11/16" diameter handle.  After measuring multiple Wilton handles and spindles in this size they averaged .687" diameter and 10.25" long.  Some were a very tight fit in the spindle and were too hard to move, so I had this handle made a touch smaller at  approximately .675" to ensure enough clearance.  There is some variation in final size after polishing as these are all custom made.  The handle is approximately 11.5" long.  The handle is made of 1144 Stress Proof steel that will give slightly and go back to position so it is less likely to bend permanently.  I discourage using an extension of any kind on a vise handle as that can bend the handle, or break the vise.
One ball end has been peened in place and the second end is threaded as pictured.  A few drops of the included permanent thread locker should be used to secure the ball end during installation on the spindle.  Also included are 1/4" thick washers to prevent damage to your spindle and the ball ends.
I can have other diameter and length handles made with varying lead times based upon my machinist's workload.
