VTG Retro Hawaii Polynesia Hand Carved Wood TIKI BAR Decor Monkey Figure Kitschy

Talk about a rare find.  Check out this darling Retro hand carved wood monkey Tiki Bar figure.  This figure is a high quality piece ,hand carved from a single piece of wood.  He holds a cocktail in one hand and an oversized phone receiver in the other.  I believe him to be from the 1980's based upon the size of the phone.  He has hand painted pupils and intricate carved features including his coat.  I was surprised to find no signature as it is truly more than just a piece of souvenir art.  The monkey stands 9 inches tall and is approximately 6 inches across the base.  There appears to be a sign of repair to the right foot.  There is a hairline through and through crack that shows glue residue to the bottom surface.  No glue residue is present on the carved surface and the foot is completely secure. I believe this little guy has seen little use and gentle care in the past. This piece shows beautifully and would make an incredible addition to any man cave or Tiki Bar.
