VOLVO PENTA steering early actuator complete seal kit

Description

This is the complete pressure chamber seal kit for some of
the early Volvo Penta steering actuators.   If your unit looks like the unit pictured in this listing, then you might have these seals.  It will be necessary for you to take the unit apart to verify which pressure seal you have as these early actuators came with 2 distinctly different seal designs for the main rod pressure seal.   If your actuator has a thick plastic washer , approximately 20mm tall, sitting on top of the main pressure seal, and the pressure seal itself is 5 mm tall, then this is the correct seal for your unit.   This kit comes with a Viton main pressure seal, the end cap O-ring, the 2 small O-rings for the hose fittings and the main seal that mounts on the sliding piston.
Please note:   It seems VP changed the design on these early units more than a few times,.. some pistons have more than one seal on the piston.  We only supply the one piston seal as that is more than sufficient for the application, which is why I suspect they went to a single seal in all following designs.
