Vintage Planert Ice Speed Skates Black Racing     Men's Size 5 1/2   one owner excellent condition
Planert’s Northlight Skates made in Canada
One owner. My uncle bought these brand new speed skates for me at Pickwick’s Ice Arena pro shop in Burbank, California in 1966.
My cousin and I were speed demons every Friday night there. FUN!! What a great time we had. I have taken excellent care of these skate throughout the years. Always wiped them dry after each use, I kept the blades in tip top shape - sharpened them if needed and always kept the blade guards on them, even through today. I alway kept them in my skate bag throughout. The fleece on the tongues of these skate is still soft. I think I used these skates once in the past 40 years but I always intended to skate again. Well…no. So it’s time to part with these fine skates.
PS:
The guards are relatively new within the past 6 years and the extra pair of new laces come with as well.
