Vintage 1980s Leather Planert Speed Skates sz Men's 6.5 Racing Made In Canada

Up for auction is a pair of vintage Planert speed skates, made in Canada of genuine black leather.  Size men's 6.5
Leather outsole, man-made insole.  11-eyelet lacing.  Blades are approximately 15.5 inches in length.
These were originally purchased at the Jesse Halpern pro shop on Long Island in the late 1980s, and used for one season of short track.
There is some minor rusting to the steel attachment plates on the boots, but the blades are still sharp and in good shape.  The leather uppers are in good shape as well, with plenty of life left in them.  Insoles are clean.
