Vintage,  ~Winchester~ Leather Ice Skates.
Rare, antique pair of Skates from the 1920's
Black, Leather boots with 'pull on' straps at heel.
Blade base is marked  "Winchester Repeating Arms , NewHaven Conn."
at Toe (see close-ups) & Blade pedestal is marked "Barney & Berry,
Made in USA" on sides (also pictured)
Size:   6  (Mens)   *marked on bottom/sole
Boots measure:  approx.  10 1/2"  Heel to Toe,  (with Heel against wall, from wall to Toe)
These fine Skates were originally from the estate of Mr. Neal Wood of Camp Hill,Pa. Mr.Wood owned and operated ~The Neal Wood Skate Shop~ from his home. For 30 years, He helped customers of all ages find or repair ice skates. Neal was a talented Ice skater, teaching many hundreds of area children to love the sport. He was also a Pivotal, Long-time member & mentor for the Hershey PA. Figure Skating Club. The shop also housed one of the largest collections of skating memorabilia, including autographed photos, figurines, magazines, and vintage skates. Since he took up skating in the 1940s, he has held many skate coaching and teaching positions. I am offering other items from this impressive estate too ,so be sure to check my eBay store.
