These Dura-Lift nylon garage door rollers are a perfect replacement. They appear to be solidly built and I think will surely last a long time. I particularly like the fact that the ball bearing in the rollers are covered with a secure dust cap, since grease and dust can destroy open bearings. I was presently surprised at the fact that the door not only operates more smoothly, but it is very noticeably quieter.

We ordered the Dura-lift garage door rollers (ultra-life max 3-in. nylon, 7-in stem) in a 10-pack to replace failing rollers on an industrial storage garage we use often. Installation is straight forward but it can take some time AND be careful. There are numerous youtube videos that demonstrate how to install, speficifally on the dura-lift youtube channel. These rollers are well made and should stand the test of time for an industrial/commercial setting. They are a likely too big for a typical residential install so make sure you measure accordingly.

Tired of rattling, loud garage doors? My neighbor was working on his garage door putting these in and he demonstrated them to me and I was amazed how much quieter the garage door was. Installation isn't beginner level, but it's not too difficult so if you're an average DIYer, you should have a problem. One thing to be careful of is to follow the directions as garage door springs are dangerous so just make sure you're not removing the wrong pieces!
