Tiki Stone Bracelet
On auction is a very heavy bracelet made up three Tiki-carved stones that feel like a natural gemstone. The largest (2" x 4") is centered in the bracelet, and the two smaller ones (2" x 2") are at the location where the clasp would be. There is a large hook closure shown in the pictures (between the two smaller stones), but there is nothing to hook into it.
The prongs holding these stones are large and it would be easy to lift and remove these stones for any collector who wants to add these to a Tiki collection or for someone just looking for something unique. The bracelet is in bad condition, still wearable, but a heavy 9 ounces. And the Tiki stones are cracked.
The largest stone looks to have a crack on the right side which cannot be felt, but the crack on the left side of the stone can be felt by running a finger down the stone, and is also chipped where the crack started. There is also damage to the corner of the stone. I don't know how it will hold up if removed from the prongs.
One of the smaller Tiki stoneheads is cracked on the right which you can feel.
The last smaller stone seems to be intact with no visible cracts or damage, but a few rough spots.
All items came from a jewelry-maker's estate, and most of this jewelry and the jewelry-making supplies have been in storage for many years. Metal testing has not been done on any of these pieces.
