Thieme Dresden Hand Painted Encrusted Flowers & Reticulated Centerpiece Bowl
Beautiful large reticulated and handled centerpiece piece bowl with four cabriolet style legs. Decorated with large hand painted encrusted flowers on the outside. With gold gilt highlights to the outside and along the edge. Has hand painted purple, yellow, orange, band blue flowers on the inside. Marked on the bottom with the blue Carl Thieme Dresden mark used starting in 1901.
Has a few chips to the floral encrustation which is typical of this style, some wear to the gilding, and a large gilded over in manufacture chip to one of the relief molded scrolls on the side, but otherwise good condition.
Measures approximately 15 1/2 inches long x 10 5/8 inches wide x 5 1/2 inches tall.
This is an antique and may have small in manufacture defects that do not effect the display of the piece.
