St Patrick Halfpenny "Copper".  Replica Coin.
This coin is a nicely detailed replica of the Irish St. Patrick Halfpenny or "Copper" as they were called.  Copper color; I don't think that this coin is made of actual copper--probably some kind of antiqued copper color alloy.  Nice weight to it--slightly thicker than a United States quarter coin.   Very good conditon, no dents, scrapes or wear.
Here is the description from a coin collector's website:
One side of the coin features a kneeling King David (wearing what in heraldic terms is called an eastern crown) playing the harp as he looks up at the English crown with the legend FLOREAT REX (May the king flourish) above.  The reverse of the coin shows Saint Patrick with miter and crozier blessing a congregation with a shamrock.  Behind Patrick is the heraldic shield of the city of Dublin consisting of three castles (each pair of towers represents a castle). Above is the legend ECCE GREX (Behold the flock).
Very nice replica to have in a collection as an exemplar coin, or keep St. Patrick in your pocket for Good Luck.  Great gift to wish someone else Good Luck.  This coin will come in a nice little plastic envelope.
