Inspired by antique Spun Cotton Ornaments. I made this Puss in Boots with cotton, glue, metal armature, wool felt, and paint. His eyes are vintage glass.

If you are not familiar with my art,
you should know I find beauty in imperfection. I've been known to add imperfections
where there were none.
Closing seams and Knots are not hidden as I like the way it looks.
I've been making and collecting stuffed animals for years and I can't seem to stop.
I create my animals with calculated recklessness.  I like the primitive - raw way
they turn out. I made it myself from design to completion. She is not a
toy for children! She is a sculpture-collectible for display only.
