Animation Shops began in 1994, when my friend and I decided to open a business where we could sell licensed merchandise for popular characters from the past and the present. We didn’t want to just sell any kind of merchandise. We wanted to have a great assortment of unique items, which people couldn’t just find anywhere. We wanted merchandise that would appeal to the young as well as the young at heart.
After ten years of hard work, we are embarking on a new journey, onto the INTERNET. Our vision is to bring our unique type of store to a worldwide customer and to become the leading resource for this type of merchandise.

Sizing
How We Measure
To ensure that you are ordering a shirt which fits properly, we suggest you measure your favorite shirt and compare the measurements to the size charts below.
Lay your shirt on a flat surface and measure accordingly:
Width
measurements are across the front of the shirt, from armpit seam to armpit seam.
Length
measurements are from the bottom seam of the shirt to the top of the back collar of the shirt.
For all sizes, doubling the width measurement will give the chest / bust measurement.
(Remember: Our measurements are in inches. For metric conversions please remember 1 inch = 2.54cm.)

Because our merchandise is supplied by different vendors the measurements are averaged. The shirts will be within 1” to 2” of these dimensions and are made of 100% pre-shrunk cotton unless otherwise noted in the shirt’s description.

Our order processing and shipping systems operate in real time.  All orders placed Monday through Friday by 1:00 pm (Eastern Standard Time) will ship on the same day as the order placement. Any order placed after 1:00 pm will ship the

. If you require same day shipping on an order placed after 1:00 pm, call customer service for expedited order processing.
Domestic Orders will be delivered within
1 to 5
business days of being shipped.
Selection and Availability (All Items are In-Stock)
Domestic Shipping
Your order will be processed in house within 1 business days. From that point the speed of delivery depends on the shipping method chosen. Domestic shipping is provided by United States Postal Service.
USPS Priority Mail
Delivery to every address in the United States- including PO boxes and military addresses. This method of shipping is reliable and inexpensive. Delivery time is made in an average of 2 to 3 days.
USPS Express Mail
Overnight delivery to most US locations with no Saturday delivery charge. Delivery to every address in the United States including PO boxes and military addresses. Delivery time is made in an average of 1 to 2 days. Order must be placed before 1 pm eastern Standard Time Monday thru Friday.
International Shipping
The United States Postal Service will be used for all international orders.

We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, and Paypal from the countries mentioned above and shipped within that same country. These transactions are carefully examined and Animation Shops reserves the right to refuse ANY transaction because we were unable to secure validation.
International Orders
Due to the high rate of international credit card fraud we must examine each order carefully. You may receive an e-mail attempting to verify the validity of your order. You may be ask to provide a copy of a driver's license or passport in order to verify your address. Your cooperation is appreciated.
Fraud Prevention
If we suspect a fraudulent transaction has occurred Animation Shops reserves the right to refuse any order based on our internal decision making.
International Taxes
Your quoted total DOES NOT INCLUDE any taxes, VAT fees or other Duties charged by the country of delivery. Any fees charged at the country of delivery are not included in your payment to Animation Shops and are payable to the appropriate government agencies. We suggest you inquiry with the appropriate agency about taxes or duties before you order.
Note: We cannot mark any package as a “gift” in order to avoid such taxes.
Cross Border Ordering
Unfortunately we cannot accept an order with a credit card from one country shipping merchandise to another. We are only able to do this if you are paying via PayPal.
Currency Conversion
All of Animation Shops prices are listed in US dollars. Your credit card company will convert your currency into US dollars and then charge you in your own currency. Usually there is a 1-2 percent fee that your credit card company will charge you for the currency conversion.
Speed of Delivery
It may take up to 3 business days to process international orders for shipping. Shipping time will begin when your package ships. Most packages should reach non-US addresses 10 business days after shipping but may take longer to arrive. If your purchase is time sensitive please order early. Due to the increase in airport security and the decrease in flights, we are unable to guarantee the shipping speed for any international packages.
International Orders
USPS International Express Mail
USPS Express is our fastest and most reliable shipping source, with delivery to most international addresses. Orders will arrive in 4-7 business days from the ship date. Tracking details are available for this particular shipping method.
USPS International Priority Mail
This method is available to most international addresses, USPS Priority shipments will arrive on average in 5-10 business days and are subject to delays, and sometimes can take 2-3 weeks to arrive to the final destination. Tracking detail is not available for this particular shipping method. However, the percentage of USPS Priority shipments not reaching the destination is less than 1% and we consider them a very reliable shipping source.
USPS First Class Mail International
This method of shipping is reliable and is the most economical it can handle large parcels to international addresses, shipments will arrive in 10-14 business days and are subject to delays, and sometimes can take 4-5 weeks to arrive to the final destination. Tracking detail is not available for this shipping method. However, the percentage of USPS Priority shipments not reaching the destination is less than 1% and we consider them a very reliable shipping source.
Return/Exchange Policy
Your satisfaction is our greatest concern! If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, please contact us and we will make every effort to assure you are completely satisfied.
We accept returns/exchanges made within
30 days
of purchase.
You, as the sender, are responsible for the return shipping, unless there was an error on the part of Animation Shops.
We suggest using USPS Priority or a carrier that uses tracking numbers. Please insure your items, Animation Shops will not be responsible for any lost packages.
Important:
Items must be returned in unworn, unwashed condition with all original tags where applicable.
Returns will not be accepted for items that have been worn or are not in original sales condition. There
is no exception to this policy.
Shipping is not refundable, we will deduct from your refund the shipping cost, even if your item shipped "Free." If you are exchanging, you will receive credit for the full amount of the item.
Original shipping costs will not be reimbursed on any returns or exchanges.

We inspect every item for quality and order accuracy before shipping, but if you receive a damaged or incorrect item, please contact us before returning your item, so we can promptly correct the issue.
