    Description

This original artist doll represents a Mormon pioneer woman and her baby.  Her hang tag reads made by Johana Chauvre for Centenniel 1847-1947 with a copyright of 1946.  She wears a gray flannel slip covered by a red print cotton dress.  There are no tears/holes in the clothing, but a slight bit of fading from age.  Baby's white cotton dress has light age discoloration.  Hands are nicely modeled.   The only damage is a small chip on the back of one shoe.  A great doll and in excellent  condition for a 75 year old doll representing early Americana.  Thanks for looking.
