OOAK 17" Nathan African American Boy Doll from Kinby Doll Kit with Layette

This is Baby Nathan,a sweet African American little boy doll that we created from a pre-painted kit from Kinby, a sister company to Bountiful Baby, that sells children's dolls.
We were thrilled to have the opportunity to purchase the Nathan kit, as well as Grace, Emma
, and Katelyn. ( in our other listings)
These dolls were sculpted from the likeness of real babies, giving them realism. This kit features a vinyl head that is pre-painted, including the sweet molded hair, and vinyl full length arms and legs. The dolls have rings on the flange of the head and limbs so they can be easily turned for posing. We added a nice suede cloth body like we use on our reborns, that is slightly weighted so it isn't too heavy for little ones to carry and care for.  Since the lengthy, time consuming painting step was already done and the hair was painted, eliminating the need for the tedious process of rooting real hair, as well as the eyes being pre-set, it is possible to offer a finished doll that is "reborn" (like Mom's) at a much reduced price. We did add more eyelashes to the doll to show off his pretty, expressive brown eyes. We put a real diaper on him and chose a soft knit  three-piece outfit for him with a
dinosaur
theme and matching hat. We assembled a layette for him to bring home with him. He will bring an extra outfit, a little rattle, a new style Berenguer "orange juice" bottle(that disappears when you feed the baby), a plush  toy, a cute a pacifier that has been trimmed to fit his mouth better, and a soft, cuddly reversible blanket  that was made especially for him. Since we created this little darlin, from a kit,
he does not have an original box, but he will be securely packaged in a new shipper box for a safe journey.  We have been making dolls for over 30 years and hope you enjoy this one!
