OOAK 1 INCH SCALE DOLLHOUSE PORCELAIN GIBSON GIRL ENGLISH ARTISAN MADE

Description

This lovely lady with blue eyes and a peaches and cream complexion is 5 1/2 inchs tall.  She wears a leg of mutton cream tucked blouse with a bow at the neck and a black velvet skirt trimmed at the bottom with purple ribbon and black braid.  The purple decoration is repeated at her waist.  She has on a cream petticoat and pantaloons trimmed with lace.  Her dark brown hair is fashionbly done in ringlets and her long curls are tied back with a matching purple ribbon.  Her head, lower arms and lower legs are all porcelain so her head does not move. I didn't want to undress her -horrors- to find out what was beneath the lovely clothes, but she is extremely flexIble. Her features and her hands and fingers especially are very delicate and detailed.
I purchased the doll in England in 1995 from a dealer whom  I can't remember and had her dressed by another artisan in England named  Carol Blakemore. There are 3 more dolls in this set-a man, a little girl and a little boy.   Look for them in my listings
