The Cummins Turbo Diesel engine block heater provided makes for quick warm-ups on cold mornings, but rooting around behind the bumper in cold, soggy weather just to find and uncover the plug can certainly discourage its use.
This Block Heater Bumper Plug on your '10-'18 Dodge Ram Cummins Turbo Diesel will move your block heater plug connection to a fixed position right up front on the bumper behind a flip-open, waterproof cover. To install, remove the old block heater cable (if installed) from the engine block and then plug this bumper plug cable into the existing block heater.
The Block Heater Plug installs in the opening next to the passenger's side tow hook. If your truck is equipped with OEM tow hooks they will not interfere with the installation of this product.
All of the Dodge Ram trucks with the Cummins diesel engine have a block heater already installed. It is located on the passenger side of the engine behind and to the left of the oil filter. Once you locate the heater, remove the black protective cap and install the heater cable.
Installation instructions included. This might work on the 4500/5500 model trucks as well if the front bumper is the same as the 2500/3500 model trucks.
NOTE:
Will NOT work on '14-'17 Dodge Ram 1500 3.0L EcoDiesel.

comes with the heater cable attached that plugs into the OEM block heater for quick and easy installation. This will only work as a bolt-on accessory for the factory Dodge Ram front bumper.
