Description

Molded cloth doll with blue painted eyes, black lashes and eyebrows, and red mouth.  Blonde synthetic hair with white lace hat tied with a lavender ribbon under her chin and and a black bow in back.  Imitation pearl earrings. Wearing a purple taffeta dress trimmed in purple, black, and gold embroidered ribbon and a  sheer mesh blouse underneath trimmed in white lace.  Also wearing a white mesh apron trimmed in white lace and a white cotton petticoat and bloomers both trimmed in lavender lace.  White ribbed knit stockings and black oilcloth shoes.  Seated on a
pink, white, and blue print cushion on a
three-legged wood stool attached to a square wood base with a stand holding her lace work.  Attached to her petticoat is a printed cloth pouch with a her paperwork inside.  Includes a folder hand-written: "Marie-Louise " on the front, "Lacemaker / Belgium / (Bejuine) / Handmade Ilse Doll / #0761" on the back, and signed "Ilse" inside.  Inside the folder is a sheet of printed paper on lace makers by Ilse.
