Does Lumē control sweat?
Lumē Deodorant is aluminum free, therefore, not an antiperspirant. Sweating is natural and necessary but doesn’t have to lead to odor. While Lume contains ingredients that help to absorb wetness, it does not prevent perspiration.
Does Lumē Deodorant stain clothing?
No. Lumē’s Cream Deodorant formula is water based and does not leave stains or residue in your clothing. Solid Stick is formulated with water soluble esters and washes out with normal laundering.
Is Lumē Deodorant edible?
While Lumē is non-toxic, it is not considered edible and has an acidic taste. We recommend applying a trace amount to clean, dry skin a few times a week rather than immediately before intimacy. No need to wash off prior to intercourse or oral sex.
Are Lumē products safe to use during pregnancy & while breastfeeding?
All Lumē products are safe to use during pregnancy or while breastfeeding. Rest assured, Lumē products were created by an OB/Gyn with you in mind!
Does Lumē Deodorant require a pit detox?
With an optimized pH level, Lumē does not require a transition period or detox to prevent irritation. We offer a much different approach that doesn’t lead to the irritation often seen with high pH deodorants, especially those made with baking soda.
