    Klemm Dresden Hand Painted Watteau Scene Cobalt & Gold Reticulated 9 1/2 Plate
    Beautiful reticulated porcelain dinner sized cabinet plate. Decorated with a hand painted Elizabethan courting couple in the center of a man serenading a woman in a yellow and white gown. The scene is framed by a cobalt blue background with gold gilt floral and scrollwork overlay. The reticulated edge has gold gilt highlights. With cobalt and gold along the edge. Marked on the bottom with a blue crown over RK Dresden Germany. This mark was used by Richard Klemm in Dresden Germany between 1891 and 1914.
    Has some very minor wear to the gilding, but otherwise excellent condition with no chips or cracks.
    Measures approximately 9 1/2 inches wide.
