    Description

    I have for sale an advertising fob for the Iten Biscuit company that was established in Clinton, Iowa I believe in 1892 as L. Iten & Sons & some time later to Iten Biscuit company.  In 1928 Iten merged with the National Biscuit company.  The fob looks to be copper, it is 1 7/16 inch in diameter and in a high grade circulated condition, but has dark areas.  On one side at the rim it reads ITEN BISCUIT CO. SNOW WHITE BAKERIES.  In the center it shows a bird on a perch with one talon holding a square that reads FAIRY.  Under the square it reads ITEN'S FAIRY CRACKERS.  On the other side it reads ITEN BISCUIT CO. - SNOW WHITE BAKERIES - CLINTON, MEMPHIS - OKLAHOMA, OMAHA.  The makers name in tiny letters is at the bottom rim EMB SUPPLY CO.
