Herend Porcelain ROTHSCHILD BIRD Tea Cup & Saucer (Mixed Motif)

This listing is for a lovely Herend porcelain hand painted ROTHSCHILD BIRD pattern tea cup and saucer set with mixed motifs. This beautiful set features a white porcelain body with colorful hand painted birds with assorted butterflies and insects and 24 K gold trim. Both the cup and saucer have a molded textured border design. Marked with the Herend trademark and "Handpainted" along with appropriate model/design numbers. Based on Herend stamp, tea cup and saucer probably date back to around 1949.  Both pieces are in excellent condition without any chips, cracks or repairs.
The cup measures 2" high, 5" wide (including handle) with a 4 1/4" diameter top. The saucer measures 3/4" high and 5 7/8" in diameter. Weighs 8.2 ounces.  Stand included if buyer would like it.
