    Description

    Helena Wolfsohn Dresden Hand Painted Courting Couple Floral & Gold Shallow Bowl
    Very pretty porcelain shallow bowl with relief molded scrollwork and leaf designs with gold gilt highlights along the edge. Decorated with a hand painted courting couple in the center with a monument and tree. Has small hand painted pink, blue, yellow, and orange flowers. Gold gilding along the edge. Marked on the bottom with a blue crown D mark used by Helena Wolfsohn in Dresden Germany between 1886 and 1891. Also has a gold flower mark and an importer's mark for Bailey Banks & Biddle Philadelphia.
    Has some wear to the gilding, but otherwise good condition with no chips or cracks.
    Measures approximately 8 5/8 inches wide x 1 7/8 inches tall.
