The S-S Series is an angle framed access cover with 300 lb. psf (1464 kg psm) load rating. Single and double door units are supplied with spring assists and are ideal for casting into concrete top slabs directly above submersible pumps and debris baskets. Please see the drawing page for standard features. This series can also be used for underground vaults that have provisions for drainage of incidental water. This Series should not be used if water intrusion is a determining factor.  If required the S-S Series can also be modified to fit existing openings. For more information on this modification on this modification please consult the factory with your existing opening size(s).

Cover Leaf(s): 1/4" (7mm) aluminum diamond plate.
Angle Frame: 1/4" (7mm) aluminum with continuous anchor flange.
Frame Coating: Bituminous coating where in contact with concrete.
Load Rating: 300 lbs. psf (1464 kg. psm) uniform live load.
Locking System: Type 316 stainless steel slam lock with removable key.
Cover equipped with the following stainless steel features: spring assists, T-316 tamper proof attaching hardware, automatic T-316 hold open arm with aluminum latch.
Cushion / Gasket: neoprene.
Guarantee: Access covers shall carry a lifetime guarantee against defects in material and/or workmanship.
