OFFERED HERE FOR YOUR VIEWING PLEASURE IS THIS FINE PORCELAIN DOUBLE INKWELL. IT WAS MADE BY HEREND.HEREND WAS ESTABLISHED IN 1826 BY VINCE STINGL IN THE TOWN OF HEREND IN HUNGARY.. IT HAS CHANGED HANDS OVER THE YEARS AND IS NOW MOSTLY OWNED BY IT'S WORKERS. THROUGHOUT IT'S HISTORY HEREND HAS BEEN RENOWNED FOR THE QUALITY OF IT'S PORCELAIN. PIECES WILL HAVE BEEN FIRED AS MANY AS 5
TIMES IN THE MAKING.
IT IS HAND PAINTED.
THERE ARE ACTUALLY 5 PIECES TO THIS SMALL PACKAGE: THE
BASE AS WELL AS 2 INSERTS AND THEIR LIDS....ALTHOUGH THERE IS AN INDENTION FOR THE LIDS, THEY DO SEEM TO FLOAT A BIT. THE COLORS ARE WHITE, PEACH, GOLD AND RED.
