This is a very rare old Dutch pair black leather metal ice skates.It is made in Holland vintage design leather ice skate
in used condition some wear as can be seen in the pictures,
they are ready to use or hang up as a vintage collectable.
Skating is a typical Dutch and certainly Friesian winter pleasure.
It is in very clean original Retro conditon.

Model:Noren schaatsen speed skates Norway model
Manufacturer: HOLLAND.
Production period: around 1970
Tube skates were first developed in Norway and therefore they are also known as speed skates of the Norwegian model. However,they were very expensive at that time. And as skating in the Netherlands was a people's sport the much cheaper wooden ice skates stood up until in the sixties of the 20th century when tube skates became the standard for both amateurs and professionals.
