    Description

    Dresden Wolfsohn Hand Painted Watteau Scene Cobalt & Gold 12 Inch Vase B
    Nice porcelain vase. Decorated with a hand painted scene depicting two men and a woman in front of trees and a monument. The scene is framed by gold gilt floral designs. The vase has a cobalt blue background with gold gilt floral overlay to the neck and back of the vase. Gold gilding along the rim of the vase above gold gilt diamond and scrollwork band. Marked on the bottom with a blue crown D mark used by Helena Wolfsohn in Dresden Germany between 1886 and 1891.
    Has a large gilded over chip to the base, a few small gilded over flakes to the base, and some wear to the gilding, but otherwise good condition.
    Measures approximately 6 inches wide x 12 inches tall.
