    Description

    Dresden Style Retsch & Co Floral & Gold Reticulated Porcelain Relish Dish 1900
    Very pretty reticulated porcelain relish dish. Nicely decorated with Dresden style flowers in pink, orange, yellow, purple, and blue. With gold floral gilt garlands through the center of the reticulation and gold gilding to the edge. With gold gilt highlights tot he handles. Marked on the reverse in green RW Bavaria. This mark was used by Retsch & Co in Wunsiedel, Bavaria, Germany. Founded in 1885. The mark is listed as 1898 +. There is a different mark listed for them from 1918 onwards, so this probably dates about 1898 to 1918.
    Has some wear to the gilding, but otherwise good condition with no chips or cracks.
    Measures approximately 7 5/8 inches long x 4 7/8 inches wide x 1 5/8 inches tall.
