    Description

    Dresden Hand Painted Madame Mole-Reymond Green Raised Beaded Gold Portrait Plate
    Beautiful porcelain cabinet plate. Decorated with a hand painted portrait of Madame Mole-Remond after a portrait by Lebrun. Has a band of gold gilding with a thin band of gold beading along the inner rim of the plate. The border is green with raised gold scrollwork, gold lines, gold net/lattice designs with beading, and gold flowers. Gold gilding along the edge.
    Marked on the bottom with a blue H in a triangle above Dresden. This mark was used by Heufel between 1900 and 1940.
    Has a few small spots of wear to the background of the portrait and some minor wear to the gilding, but otherwise good condition with no chips or cracks.
    Measures approximately 9 1/2 inches wide.
