Dresden Ambrosius Lamm Cobalt & Hand Painted Encrusted Gold Footed Cup & Saucer

Description

This is an Antique Dresden Ambrosius Lamm Cobalt & Hand Painted Encrusted Gold Footed Cup & Saucer.  Both pieces have the Dresden lamb mark on the bottom.  The footed cup is 2-7/8" high and 3-5/8" wide at the top rim.  The saucer is 5-3/4" wide.  The center of the saucer is slightly raised for a pedestal style display of the cup.  The gold design is beautifully hand painted.  I believe that is a monogram on the front side of the cup although it is very ornate so I can't make out the letters and looks more like scrolls.  Both pieces are in fabulous condition with no chips, cracks, crazing, repairs, or stains.  This is so minor but I'll mention it for the sake of accuracy - there are a few tiny specs where you can see some of the cobalt lightly coming through the gold trim on the edge of the saucer and some cobalt and white lightly coming through on the inner rim of the saucer.  The gold on the cup is in beautiful condition!
This is a previously used item and may show light signs of gentle use.
