• Condition:
The foot has a flat chip on the inside edge which I nearly missed. The balance of the bowl is free of chips, cracks, crazing and fleabites. There are no notable marks from use and storage. The hand painted roses are free of marks and wear. The gold is superb with minimal wear and no balding or scratches through. There is light shelf wear on the bottom as expected.
The porcelain is exceptionally lightweight and has nice resonance. The designs are hand-painted with gentle brush strokes visible under magnification. The bottom is marked "Dresden", over a crown, over "Germany" in a tan or light brown color. It's one of the many decorator marks found on Dresden porcelain.
