Vintage Doll
I recently purchased this and another doll from an estate sale.  This doll appears to have been handmade.  She has a beautiful face with hand painted features.  I am unsure of what her head is made out of.  Her elaborate gown is red velvet with several different gold trims.  It is hand beaded down the front.  She has a pretty headpiece also hand beaded.  The front of the dress is split to reveal the gold underskirt.  Under that is a lace trimmed slip.  The doll"s legs and body is quite stiff and are wrapped is something with some give.  I am unsure of what because she also is wearing lace trimmed pants and little gold slippers.  She is mounted on a base to match her dress.
The only label is on the underside of the base "89, Catherine Howard".  She appears to have been stored for many years under a glass dome and has a flowery scent.  I believe this is when the wrinkles and a small hole to the back of her skirt appeared from sitting under the edge of the glass.  She stands 12 1/2" tall and will make a wonderful addition to your doll collection.

There is a $.50 to .00 shipping/handling charge on each package to cover some of the shipping fees charged by ebay.  Combined orders will only be charged this fee once.
If you pay for your item before 8 pm central standard time, I am often able to mail your item out the following business day.  Business days do not include Saturday, Sunday or holidays.  Parcel Post and Media Mail will save you money but can take up to 14 days to arrive.  Consider Priority mail if you need your item quickly.
I accept returns, if I have misrepresented an item.  Other issues with an item, I will consider on a case by case basis.  Please e-mail me with any questions before bidding because shipping costs, in cases of buyers remorse, are non-refundable.
