    Description

    Carl Thieme Hand Painted Floral Garlands Gold Net & Reticulated Dessert Plate C. 1891 - 1901
    Beautiful reticulated porcelain dessert plate. Nicely decorated with hand painted pink, orange, blue and purple flowers and floral garlands. With gold gilt net/lattice designs over some of the flowers. The reticulated edge is heavily gilded. Marked on the bottom with a T over an X crossed mark. This mark was used by Carl Thieme in Dresden between 1891 and 1901. The reticulated blank was made by Hutschenreuther.
    Has some wear to the gilding, but otherwise good condition with no chips or cracks.
    Measures approximately 7 5/8 inches wide.
    This is an antique and may have small in manufacture defects that do not effect the display of the piece.
