Carl Thieme Dresden Hand Painted Reticulated Floral & Gold Bread Plate F
Beautiful reticulated porcelain bread plate. Decorated in the Meissen / Dresden style with hand painted flowers in pink, orange, yellow, purple, and blue. With fancy gold gilding around the flowers in the center. The reticulated edge has flowers in the same colors along the reticulated portions, and also four sections of flowers framed in gold gilt scrollwork. With double gold gilding along the edge. Marked on the reverse with the Carl Thieme mark used starting in 1901.
Has some wear to the gilding, but otherwise good condition with no chips or cracks.
Measures approximately 6 5/8 inches wide.
