    Description

    Carl Thieme Dresden Hand painted Floral & Gold Reticulated 9 7/8" Wide Compote
    Very pretty reticulated porcelain compote. Nicely decorated in the popular Meissen / Dresden style with hand painted central flowers in pink, orange, purple, yellow and blue with fancy gold gilt designs along the inner rim. With gold gilt highlights to the reticulated edge and hand painted flowers. Marked on the reverse with the Carl Thieme Dresden mark used starting in 1901. Also has a Bailey Banks & Biddle retailer's mark.
    Has some minor wear to the gilding. There is a long scratch to the back along the reticulation. and a chip to the foot rim, but otherwise good condition with no additional chips or cracks.
    Measures approximately 9 7/8 inches wide x 4 1/2 inches tall.
