Very rare Hildegard Gunzel WoP Doll
Anika ~ Rare Sample doll from 1995
Up for sale is here this beautiful, rare Wax over Porcelain doll ANIKA made in 1995 by Hildegard Gunzel.
Anika has a wig made from real human hair and mouth-blown crystal glass eyes.
The dress is original and is made from a beautiful white cotton fabric with butterfly pattern.
She comes with her original flower headdress made from beautiful organdy flowers and pearls.
Anika is the Sample doll for the USA ,which was usually the very first doll made out of a mold.
The dolls porcelain parts are all in good undamaged condition.
There were some dents in the wax of the dolls feet, but I was able to remove almost all of these.
I have attached plenty of pictures showing her condition, so please check the pictures carefully.
Anika comes with her white Gunzel box, but has no certificate.
However, her shoulder plate is signed and has the details Sample inscribed. ( Please check the pictures for this important detail)
