    Die struck pewter for production of turn of the century pins/badges from jewelry manufacturing lot at auction in R.I. Designs with dates are from late 1800s to early 1900s.
    Design for advertising pin made by Battle Axe Shoes, Richmond, Va. (STEPHEN PUTNEY SHOE CO.).
    Design shows high-lace shoe with a battle axe behind reading "SOLID" and "BATTLE AXE".
