This is Kaboul Elf (mold by GSR
(Gerda Shaarman Rijsdij)
made by an artist as one of a kind doll. He is 28 inches tall.
The mold for Kaboul was expensive and this doll was made with the full set in high fired porcelain : arms, head, shoulder-plate and legs (head could be purchased alone as well). pattern for body
This mold is no longer available so the Kaboul made are all that will be.  The artist who bought this mold only signed it M and of course the GSR "Kaboul" and other info is also engraved on the back of head imprinted from the mold.
This handsome Elf has beautiful paperweight glass eyes, rimmed in painted lashes and real lashes. He wears a blonde mohair wig.
His blushed arms are 1/2 porcelain and 1/2 cloth. His legs are porcelain up past the knee with blushed toenails. Body is high quality stuffed cloth.
He wears a voluminous, tissue silk (real silk), silvery blue, outfit.  Very Ethereal and beautiful with pant, swing blouse with puffed sleeves and head band. The blouse and pants are not removable as all the gathering (neck, sleeves, waist and ankles) was hand gathered and tied with twisted silk cording. Head band is pinned to the wig and is removable
He is in perfect condition albeit some wrinkles in the clothing but no cracks breakage, no bad odors or soiling
His head is tied on with strong cord so it articulates and moves freely in the neck socket the cord does not seem weak .
