NOT TO BE NOSEY,but how many years have you been using commercial deodorant? Whoa, you're getting up there. Let's reflect - shall we? Take a moment to think about how many chemicals you have been putting on top of the most important lymphatic pathway in your body.
Antiperspirants
clog the natural detoxifying sweat glands
, creating build-up and poisons to linger around unwelcomed. Those toxins are like the guest who won't leave - they not going anywhere if you keep bringing them more chips. Meaning...slapping on more and more poisons day after day with sweat-blocking technology creates an enormous accumulation of dangerous chemicals in your body.
The most effective way
to remove toxins and old commercial deodorant chemicals from your underarms is by
clearing and detoxifying the lymph nodes
and underarm area. By clearing out the old junk that has been
clogging your pits
, and creating a clean and bacteria-free canvas, you just set the stage to use natural deodorant - for your health!
Armpits are both the body's entry & exit points.
After years of using commercial deodorant,
many chemicals have been absorbed by the skin
. An armpit detox will help pull out some of the chemicals and toxins stuck in the skin, tissue and lymph nodes under the arm, and will prevent a possible reaction which occasionally accompanies the switch to a natural deodorant.
Infused with all of the powerful, natural detoxifiers like Bentonite Clay, Activated Charcoal, and Kaolin Clay, Pit-Tox® will cleanse and moisturizes your pits & get you ready to use natural deodorant.
► Not only will PIT-TOX® Underarm Detox Paste
clean out the build-up of toxins under the arms, but it may reduce the volume and odor of your perspiration, boost the immune system and decrease your cancer risk.
Pit-Tox is formulated at an effective 8.39 pH.
Why is that important?
pH stands for power of hydrogen, a measurement of the hydrogen ion concentration in the body. Without getting overly technical, the pH scale is 0-14. Neutral pH is 7.0. The higher the pH (greater than 7) the more alkaline, while a pH lower than 7 is acidic. Proper pH varies throughout our bodies but ideally it should be slightly more alkaline (7.35 - 7.45). Our bodies work hard to maintain its pH balance amid our poor lifestyle choices and toxic environmental factors.
An alkaline substance (a pH of 8.3) strongly inhibits odors, and microbial growth may be reduced in the higher-pH environment.
Why detox your armpits at all?
Why not just ke
ep using regular deodorant and avoid the whole problem?
Glad you asked?
Conventional deodorants and anti-perspirants contain a variety of chemicals and additives. It takes something un-natural to block the body?s natural ability to sweat, and the chemical list in some deodorants is downright scary:
Aluminum: E
vidence links aluminum to cancer and Alzheimer?s Disease;
Phthalates:
Endocrine disruptors often also found in plastic that can cause hormone imbalance and even infertility (especially in men);
Propylene glycol: C
ommon name: antifreeze. It is a hotly-debated additive in personal care products but the Environmental Working Group reports that it carries a moderate risk of immunotoxicity and allergies;.
Formaldehyde
- a known carcinogen....Guess it kills the germs though;
Parabens
- Another hormone disruptor and has been found in biopsied tissue with breast cancer;
Antibacterial Substances
- endocrine disruptors and can negatively affect the immune system.
Why is this a big deal?
Have you ever been sick, and had a lump in your neck or armpit? That is a lymph node and they are a major part of your immune system. Putting endocrine disruption chemicals directly on top of them is a great way to screw up your hormones and suppress immune function.
The skin is the body's largest organ and what touches our skin can easily enter our bloodstream. With skyrocketing rates of breast cancer, it would seem prudent to avoid these chemicals until further research is done.
Directions for Use:
Apply PIT·TOX® UNDERARM PASTE with fingers to each underarm in a thin layer. Leave on for 15-20 minutes and rinse off in the shower with a shower scrubber, or use a course washcloth to remove dried paste. The exfoliating action of a rough washcloth helps to smooth and exfoliate underarms.* Use 3-7 days in a row - then 1-3 times a week for maintenance. Follow with a completely·natural deodorant for the rest of your life. For external use only. If irritation develops, discontinue use. Keep out of reach of children.
*Use with caution when applying Pit-Tox®, as excess paste may stain your perfectly white tank top. Rinsing off the paste with your favorite towels and washcloths may stain light colored fabrics as well due to the activated charcoal and bentonite clay.

Why should I switch to a completely-natural deodorant?
Research into the ingredients of commercial deodorants will shock you. Aluminum is the main ingredient of antiperspirants ? which has been shown to cause Alzheimers and even breast cancer.
Will this deodorant stop me from sweating?
Aluminum, the main ingredient in many commercial antiperspirant, stop your underarms from sweating. In this completely-natural deodorant, the plant-based powders and the kaolin clay help absorb the wetness. Remember: Your body is meant to sweat out toxins.
What if I get a rash or skin irritation?
A rash may be caused by any of the following:
A) Detox reaction. This is your body expelling all the nasty ingredients from your previous toxic deodorant, and finally having the freedom to sweat naturally again. This type of rash clears up within one month. You can try to go without any deodorant whenever you can, or use the vinegar spray, below, while your body detoxes.
B) Body pH adjustment. This deodorant could be irritating to the skin as the body adjusts to a different pH level. This transition can even occur even after using completely-natural deodorant for some time.
A simple remedy is to combine in a spray bottle:
- One TB apple cider vinegar
- One cup of distilled water.
Spray your underarms with this solution then let them dry. Then apply deodorant. Repeat this process for a week. If this does not help, take one week off from the deodorant and use only the vinegar spray (which will help with odor, too). Begin using the deodorant again after a week has passed.
C) Skin irritation due to one of the ingredients. Your body could be sensitive to one of the natural ingredients - even essential oils may be irritating to some people.
Please be patient and continuing using completely-natural detoxifying deodorant. Your health depends on it.
