CONDITION: ExcellentThis porcelain demitasse cup and saucer was produced in Germany by Saxe Dresden. This company was owned by Charles Ahrenfeldt who was an exporter and sold German porcelains, made especially for him, under this name. The mark dates from 1886 to 1910. The saucer is 4
½ inches in diameter and the cup is 1 ½ inches high. The inside of the cup has a scene of an 18
th
century couple out for a stroll. There are other reserves in the apple green ground with hand painted flowers in them. There is intricate hand gilding in abundance. The rims and handle are trimmed with gold.
