Antique German Elfinware Porcelain and Bronze Ormolu Dresser Powder/Trinket Box

Description

This German porcelain dresser powder or trinket box is 3 1/2" in diameter and 2 1/2" tall. The top is decorated with tiny porcelain forget me not flowers and roses and rosebuds. Unfortunately the large yellow rose has lost part of one of its petals. The outer rim of both the top and body of the box are covered with bronze work. The inside of the box is expertly hand painted with flowers. The bottom has been hand marked "Germany". Other than the partial loss of one of the yellow roses petals the piece is in very good condition.
