DESCRIPTION
Here is a wonderful hard to find, Dresden Germany desk letter holder.  This beautiful Dresden porcelain is hand painted with absolutely fabulous detail. Signed with Dresden crown mark  Lovely gilt draping leaf with roses and smaller berries or flower.  The form of the this is just spectacular, so interesting with curved form.  After I took the images I realized it could use a touch of cleaning but it is in excellent condition without chips, cracks or repairs.  Minimal gold gilt wear as expected with age,   Well marked on the bottom, see image.  Measures 5 1/8" long, 4 1/8" wide, and 3" tall.  This could be used for many functions, such as napkin holder, vanity or desk, or serving item.
