    Description

    Hi Friends. Here's a lovely Dresden calendar plate from 1910.  It shows well & is also an advertising plate for F.J. Fejfar & Son, General Merchandise, Utica, S.D.
    I looked into "Fejfar of South Dakota" and saw that he sold the old Victrolas in the store.  In 1867 Frank left Germany and went to Quebec.  From there he went to Illinois... and then Wisconsin... and in 1870 the Dakota Territory.  In 1874 he ran the general merchandise store.  In 1909 he joined his sons in Utica and worked there for 10 years until he retired.
