  • Condition: This item has been previously owned and is in great value / AS IS condition with unfortunately very severe damage to the two inkwells. The one ink well has a removable lid, but is cracked on the lid and pieces are missing from the top of the lid- there is also crazing on the well itself. On the other inkwell the piece has been fully glued or sealed shut- the lid is NOT removable. There are also cracks throughout the lid, assumedly the past owner was trying to ensure it didn't break apart or have pieces lost. The well area itself seems to be free of problems however. The stand for both ink wells does not have any cracks or chips, but has some scuffs and gold loss in a few places.     Dimensions: Stand itself: 9 1/8" width x 7" length x 3 1/8", less broken ink well: 2 5/8" height This item made by a factory in Dresden Germany [there were various maker's this piece has a crown above the word Dresden, a number, and GERMANY] features a very rococo style inkwell stand with two included inkwells. It is a white base with applied gold accents on the various edge flourishes, flower designs, blue accents, and a heavily applied gold raised decoration. It is unfortunate the inkwells are VERY DAMAGED. Please be aware of this when viewing the photos.
