Ambrosius Lamm Dresden Hand Painted Mallard Scene Saucer Signed Ander【Factory】Porzellanmalerei Ambrosius Lamm (1887-1934),Germany. A decorator who opened a studio in Dresden, Germany in 1887. He decorated porcelain made by the famous manufacturers in Meissen. He is known for decorating in both the Meissen and Vienna styles. His unique monogram, a figural lamb over the word “Dresden”. Around 1906 his specialty was the 'Alt-Dresden' decoration (which represents a special form of flower arrangements) as well as Watteau-type decorations and mythology. When Lamm retired in 1934, his daughter took over the business and continued to operate it until 1949.

A charming saucer made by Dresden Ambrosius lamm , the saucer is signed by the artist Ander. Depicting a hand painted scene of Mallard flying across the lake with withered tree and snowfield. The rim of the saucer has decorating gold gilt and raised gold beads.
