Ambrosius Lamm Dresden Hand Painted Courting Couple Pink & Gold Rococo Dish
Beautiful porcelain Rococo style relief molded and reticulated dish. Decorated with a hand painted Georgian / Colonial scene of a courting couple in the center of a pink background. With heavy gold gilt highlights to the high points of the relief molding and gold gilding along the edge. Marked on the reverse with a lamb above Dresden. This is a decorating mark was used by the Dresden studio of Ambrosius Lamm between 1887 and 1890. Also has an impressed MR mark indicating the blank was made my Martial Redon between 1882 and 1890.
Has some wear to the gilding, but otherwise good condition with no chips or cracks.
Measures approximately 9 1/8 inches wide x 2 1/4 inches tall.
This is an antique and may have small in manufacture defects that do not effect the display of the piece.
