2 Woodpecker Bird Figurine Vintage Unmarked Germany Dresden? High Quality 8 1/4"

The only info I could get from the person I got these from was that they were brought back from Germany at some point when her parents came back.
They are an unmarked pair of woodpeckers and were created as a set as you can see where 1 bird has the flower at the base of the trunk on the right side and the other bird has this on the left side.
The feel of the glaze and the quality of workmanship and the detail very much reminds me of the Dresden parrot I recently sold and the Karl ENS owl. So possibly one of their unmarked pieces but definitely German origin based on the info I was given.
I can find no marking at all but the bases of both figurines have had felt added to them which I am not going to attempt to remove and possibly there could be a mark underneath but I just do not know.
They both stand approx. 8.25" tall.
Great detail on all aspects of the pieces from the wooden trunk to the feathering of the birds.
I cannot find any damages to either piece.
If anyone can provide any additional info onto the possible maker I would love to hear from you.
