2 New Vintage 1930-40 Talon Zippers 4in 8in Featherweight Metal Slide Fasteners

A pair of unopened Talon Zippers
or Slide Fasteners from the late
1930s early 1940s. Zippers were
hard to find during WWII since
most metal
was needed for the
War Effort. Both zippers are wine
colored and still in the cellophane
package. One is 4" long and great
for doll or baby clothes. But
sometimes
during this era a tight
sweater would zip on the shoulder
and lots of dresses and tops went
over the head and zipped at the
neck back. The other zipper is 8"
long and probably for a neckline
of a dress and even
full slips
zipped on the side.
