1978 Irish Dresden "Vienna Waltz" Figurine from Ireland
Irish Dresden M.Z. "Vienna Waltz" beautiful figurine from Ireland.You are bidding on a vintage Irish Dresden figurine, entitled "Vienna Waltz". Irish Dresden Collections of fine porcelain figures are renowned worldwide.   The process of making fine porcelain was first discovered in the ancient town of Meissen, near Dresden in Germany, in the early 18th Century. Real cotton lace, impregnated with porcelain clay, is used to dress the figurines, and hand made porcelain flowers, or other decorations, are added. They are then glazed, and each piece is hand painted by craftsmen.
Measures   8 1/2" tall x 6"w. It is overall in very good condition  with some exceptions. The forefinger on the gentleman's right-hand is  broken and the beautiful  lace dress  has several losses,  this is  due to the delicate nature of the lace material.
It was found two Irish importers who sell similar pieces: Cashs of Ireland (5) and Irish Eyes (5)
Item comes from a smoke-free and pet-free home.
