    Description

    You are buying ONE pair of Hudora Magnat Feinsterstahl Edelhart Ice Skates with a pair of matching Polar D.R.G.M. wood blade protectors. Skates Marked No. 161, 25.
    Skates: nickel or chrome plated, one skate has rust, more than a few spots, the other has only isolated spots
    Polar protectors: Wood is split at the tip of one, hardware works and is in good condition although the rubber inserts are hard. BOTH have paper POLAR labels and both are marked with wood burned D.R.G.M.
    Hudora was founded on August 4, 1919 by Hugo Dornseif in Radevormwald (Nordheim-Westfalen) as a skate factory.
    One of the company's first successes was the production of a one-piece
    ice skate
    in 1926. This enabled the company to penetrate the professional sector and equip top athletes, world champions and Olympic champions.
    Soon after, the production of roller skates was started, which accelerated growth again.
    In the 1920s, Hudora sold ice skates across Europe.
